A user should use a registered e-mail address to log in to home.mcafee.com. The registered e-mail address can be found in the McAfee product.
- Open McAfee application and navigate to Account or Subscription option.
- The screen will show your account details with the subscription details.
- Use the given e-mail address to log in to My account at home.mcafee.com.
- Visit the home page of McAfee and navigate to My Account option.
- Now, under the Log In option, click Forgot your Email Address?
- Thereafter, follow the given on-screen instructions to retrieve e-mail address for your account.
To reset password do the following:
- Visit the home page of McAfee and then navigate to My Account option.
- Now, under Log In section click Forgot your password? link.
- In the next step, type your registered e-mail address and then click Send Email.
- Now, check your inbox for a new message sent by McAfee to reset the password.
- Open the message and follow the link within that email.
- A user has to follow the link within 72 hours, else it will expire and you have to follow the same process to get a new email.
- If the message can’t be found in the inbox, then search it in the Spam folder.
- Move the message in the inbox from spam folder. If the link in that email is blocked then do the following:
- Make sure that donotreply@mcafee.com is on in your safe senders list to stop their emails going to the Spam folder.
- Go through the same process to get a new email to reset the password.
